Recommended Dilution Ratios with Water
These are approximate and are dependent on the degree of dirt.Exterior in machine | 1:50 – 1:80 |
Exterior manually | 1:10 |
Ultrasonic | 1:10 – 1:30 |
Dip tank | 1:5 – 1:10 |
Extreme dirt, such as burnt-in brake dust and engine compartment | 1:10 – 1:5 |
Directions for use
For best results apply Swiss EcoClean® diluted 1:10, to rims, side-mirrors and windshield, and other bike parts contaminated with bugs, insects and traffic film. Applying Swiss EcoClean® to the windshield will not only remove the bugs but also the pollution film. Allow to soak for a few minutes, thereafter high-pressure clean. It may be necessary to use a soft brush to agitate dirt in engine niches and rims. Also available is an additive called Oleum+ (see under additives) for increased degreasing power.
Ultrasonic and dip tank cleaning
Simply place components like injectors, carburettor parts, metal or non metal, into the tank and just let Swiss EcoClean® do the work. Due to the gentle nature of Swiss EcoClean® there is no danger of damaging delicate parts, just removing films and build-ups, and leaving them like new.
Traffic-film - contamination that ends up forming a film on your vehicle's bodywork. These contaminants can be sun burnt fuel, fuel additives, sulphur, oil, brake dust, cement dust, fine dust, air pollution, kerosene and other air pollutants. The result is that the traffic film is baked into the body work. When rinsing the car with water or high pressure hose, the water soluble contaminants get rinsed off the bodywork and the non- water soluble ones remain. This is worsened by the cure effect - sun-baking. The contaminants have an opposite polarity to the vehicle making it necessary to use Swiss EcoClean®. The typical effect is white paintwork turning grey. This is an extreme form of traffic film which can be removed by polishing which is very time and labour intensive but with Swiss EcoClean® and a sponge it is possible to easily remove even these most difficult paint staining contaminants.
