Directions for use

Exterior washing wet

Aircraft surfaces get soiled by oil, grease, bugs, hydraulics, de-icing fluids, carbon, dust, and splash-ups from dirty runways. Cover pitot tubes and static ports with fluorescent tape to prevent water from entering and damaging the avionics.

Dilute Swiss EcoClean® with water at a ratio of 10:1 – 1:20 (depending on degree of dirt) for leading edges, landing gears, carbon soil and propellers.

Bellies get soiled with hydraulic fluids, oil, carbon, and splash-ups off the runway. Using Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, spray belly of aircraft, clean and rinse thoroughly. It is advisable to clean the belly first .

Landing Gears will get soiled from carbon, brake dust, oil, hydraulics, bugs, and runway grime. Spray with Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, agitate with a brush to loosen dirt and grime and rinse thoroughly.

Flaps will be soiled with bugs. Spray with Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling and bugs, clean and rinse thoroughly. If necessary allow to soak before cleaning and rinsing.

Bottom of Wings can be soiled from fuel leaks, hydraulic fluids, bugs, carbon, oil, and runway grime. Use Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, clean and rinse thoroughly

Top of Wing/Leading Edge. Rinse to remove top layer of dust. Spray with Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, loosen dirt and grime with a brush and rinse thoroughly.

Leading edges may have heavy accumulations of bugs. Caution should be taken when
cleaning bugs from polished aluminum edges as any soaps strong enough to dissolve bugs will dull out the polished aluminum leaving behind dull, clouded edges. Clean the leading edges using a good quality Microfiber cloth, also when drying the wings and use aluminium polish.

Fuselage. The nose of the fuselage will be soiled with bugs, the sides and rear with dust, carbon, oil, and bugs depending on where the engines are placed on an aircraft. Use Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, clean and rinse thoroughly

Engine Cowlings will become soiled from oil, carbon, dust, and bugs. Use Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, loosen dirt and grime with a brush and rinse thoroughly.

Tail. The Tail of the aircraft will become soiled by carbon and bugs. Use Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, loosen dirt and grime with a brush and rinse thoroughly.

Drying Aircraft

To remove any water left behind, use a good quality Microfiber Cloth wrapped around a squeegee. When drying polished aluminum leading edges, use aluminium polish and a Microfiber cloth to remove any water spots.

PlexiglaSs

Spray the front windscreen with a generous amount of Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 to 1:20, depending on degree of soiling, to loosen the bugs and dust, clean with a good quality Microfiber Cloth, rinse and dry with a clean Microfiber Cloth. Do not use a brush as this will scratch the Plexiglass surface.

Ultrasonic and dip tank cleaning

Simply place any desired parts, metal or non metal into the tank and just let
Swiss EcoClean® do the work. Due to the gentle nature of Swiss EcoClean® there is no danger of damaging delicate parts, just removing films and build-ups and leaving the parts like new.
