Recommended Dilution Ratios with Water

These are approximate and are dependent on the degree of dirt.

Directions for use

Engine compartment and chassis

Simply apply Swiss EcoClean® to engine and all other components, including underneath the engine hood. Let it soak for a few minutes, thereafter spray with high pressure, hot or cold.
Also available is an additive called Oleum+ (see under Additives) for increased degreasing power.

Interior cleaning, Cockpit, Door Panels and Roof

Apply Swiss EcoClean® in a spray and wipe fashion, irrespective of the different materials used eg wood, plastic, leather, carbon fiber, aluminum. Swiss EcoClean® is gentle and will not damage any materials.

Carpet and fabric seats

Apply Swiss EcoClean® first to any stains, thereafter use in a shampooing machine for best results and allow for sufficient drying time.

Exterior cleaning, Bodywork and wheels

For best results apply Swiss EcoClean® to rims, side-mirrors and other body parts contaminated with bugs and insects. Applying Swiss EcoClean® to the windscreen will not only remove the bugs but also the pollution film. Allow to soak for a few minutes, thereafter high-pressure clean or put the car through a carwash.

Swiss EcoClean® can be used for cleaning soft tops, canvas and vinyl, including the transparent vinyl rear window. Rinse canvas soft top with water (not high pressure) to remove any rough dirt. Thereafter apply Swiss EcoClean® thoroughly to the entire soft top, using a soft bristled brush, in the direction of the fabric pattern. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Once completely dry, do not forget to apply a water repelling protective product.

To remove traffic film requires a little more detail work. The most effective way is using a spray bottle and sponge. Rinsing before Swiss EcoClean® and the traffic film have a chance to dry is imperative. This simple process eliminates the polishing procedure, saving a lot of valuable time and money.

Ultrasonic and dip tank cleaning

Simply place components like injectors, carburettor parts, metal or non metal, into the tank and just let Swiss EcoClean® do the work. Due to the gentle nature of Swiss EcoClean® there is no danger of damaging delicate parts, just removing films and build-ups and leaving the parts like new.
As Swiss EcoClean® is water-based, ferrometal parts such as brake caliper systems, will have a tendency to develop a corrosion film. To overcome this problem we have a Corrosion Inhibitor which is simply added separately to your ultrasonic or dip tank solution.

Surface preparation

Surface preparation before welding, painting, powder coating.
Specific cleaning required when preparing residue surfaces for the above.
Dilute Swiss EcoClean® 1:10 with water, apply uniformly onto the relevant area with spray-bottle, thereafter wipe thoroughly with a good quality microfiber cloth. No fire hazard.

The above mentioned surface preparation, with or without corrosion inhibitor, is a ONE STEP PROCESS.
